Halloween 2012

This was a special Halloween since it was our babies first Halloween but also a emotional day as it would have been my brother in-law's 37th birthday. It was a good day to have lots of conversation about his life and it was great to see our sister in-law, nephews and niece. They are the closest things to him and just warm our heart. We are BLESSED to have them. Here are some pictures of our babies first Halloween spent with their wonderful cousins!

2 Month Doctor's Appointment...

We had a great 2 month doctor's appointment! (posting this a bit late) The babies are perfectly healthy and are growing BIG! They are still 100% breast fed and it looks like its working out well for them :) Here are their stats...

Jack Henry: Weight:11lb 15oz (95th percentile for boys)
                       Length:22 1/8 inches(85 percentile for boys)
                       Head circumference:42.5 in (off charts!)

Hadley: Weight:12lb 5 oz (90th percentile for girls)
                Length:22 7/8 (75th percentile for girls)
                Head circumference: 40.5 inches (off charts!)

They received 2 injections which made them very sad and fussy the rest of the day which was a bummer since they went to Louisville to meet lots of friends :(

Meeting Patrick, Savannah and John Ryman!

This past week was a big week for our babies as they got to meet some of our very best friends Patrick and Savannah Garcia along with their precious 10 month old son, John Ryman who were visiting from Dallas, Texas. We were just dying not being able to be with them until the babies were 10 weeks old, but we were so thankful we were all finally together... minus Luke :(
Savannah is one of my most precious friends. We got married 3 weeks apart and were TECHNICALLY pregnant together ( I was about 6 weeks pregnant when she delivered her baby boy.) And now we get to do motherhood together, which is just the biggest blessing to able to go through such a sweet season of life together, even if it is long distance. Savannah is a fabulous photographer and has taken some beautiful pictures from our little reunion which you can view on her wonderful blog Everyday Pitter Patter

We had many wonderful friends all meet together at a local park. 

We miss them so much already but are always thankful for our time together.

11 Weeks...

11 weeks and we have... babies who sleep through the night!!!! Our sweet babies are sleeping through the night now, 10-7, 9-6, 10:30-8 have been our last three nights! We are so thankful for such angels! I have doctor appointment details and a Louisville trip to blog about next but for now, here are some pictures I took during their eleventh week (excuse Hadley' slobbered onesie)...
